HOLA!!!  So, I am so excited to be in Granada, Nicaragua. Training camp was AWESOME and our team has become a family. Everyone gets along great and I have made so many friends. The place we´re staying at is beautiful and true Nicaraguan style. Music, laughs, love & God´s works are abundant. Yesterday we went into the neighborhoods to play music and play with the kids. They came from EVERYWHERE. We were all playing soccer, football, & frisbee in the street. There were bubbles, songs, chalk etc. I played tic tac toe with a couple kids and taught others how to throw a football. This place is AMAZING. I didn´t know Nica was the 2nd poorest country in the Western hemisphere, but you can definitely see it almost everywhere. Despite this, the people are generous and love to serve.
I have also been singing more and will sing at a church later today. Also, later I´m going to a group meeting (all gringos) to kind of be somewhat of an ambassador for the El Puente, the place that we are staying. It was established by two missionaries to be an outreach in the worst part of town. Here they hold bible studies, YOUNG LIFE  which by the way was AWESOME. I wish you all couldvé seen YL, it really makes a difference here. There´s a soccer ministry, fishing ministry, orphanage, handicapped school, & some of us might also start our ministries for like baseball, running, crafts, etc...
Sorry this is so random, there´s so much to say!!
Everything´s really cheap here. I just bought 3 brand name shirts for around 10 dollars which back in the states would be like 100, 150 dollars maybe.
The streets are strewn with trash, but yet it´s all so beautiful. The beautiful bright colors, intricate gate-door designs, and the everchanging sidewalk tiles are gorgeous and a great change of scenery.
There´s SO MUCH MORE that I want to say. Oh, and btw, my realtionship with Christ has grown tremendously and I´ve learned so much more about my faith. But I have to go.
I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!! I can´t wait to see everyone when I get back on the 29th. And don´t worry, I´ve been journaling & taking pictures... (Katie)....:D

Mucho Amor,
Sara
