Hi guys! My name is Becca and I am one of your leaders for the Nica trip. I currently live in Colorado Springs with my best friend, Shanna. In the pic, I'm on the right and she's on the left. I graduated college in 07 with a degree in Church Ministries, and I'm putting my skills to use managing a Middle Eastern restaurant for a Muslim family. :P Truth be told, it IS what I've been taught to do, because I learned a lot about how to love people, and I'm so thankful that I get the opportunity to share the love of Christ every day. Community is a vital part of my life...I live around a group of absolutely amazing people that are committed to exploring what it looks like to be the Church in daily life and in everyday relationships. I also (like so many of you!) love photography. I would love to go back to school for a degree in photojournalism/communications/photography, or something in that field. Swing dancing and traveling are also pretty high on my list of interests. I'm in the process of developing a worldwide network of believers that will help students much like yourselves connect with families in the part of the world you feel called to. I'll tell you more about it on our trip. :) Guess that's it for now. I can't wait to meet each of you and learn more about you and the life God has called you to. See you very, very soon!
