Hey everyone! I'm Emily and I'm from Eau Claire Wisconsin. I'm 19 years old as of January 1st (and you thought everyone was just celebrating the new year ;) ) and currently a freshman at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. In Eau Claire, I live with my mom and dad, my younger sister, two dogs, and a cat. I aslo have an older who sister lives with her husband in Chicago so it's always fun to visit them.

   I am studying to be a speech pathologist (speech therapist) and also majoring in Spanish. I just recently decided these things, but God has just opened door after door for me and I'm super excited! As for this trip, I'm excited about learning to better share my faith in words and not just actions. So I'm excited to hopefully get some experience that way and maybe practice a little Spanish while I'm at it! I also just love traveling so this is just a win win...win situation! I can't wait to meet the team and to get started serving the Lord in Nicaragua!
