Hola mi amigos y familia!

 

So I´m down in Nicaragua right now. Hooray! It´s totally sweet! Our team is AWESOME! We all get along so well and really clicked at training camp. We´re pretty much a family now. Praise God for that! God has truly blessed us so far and we´ve only been here for 2 days! The food here is great. We´re staying at this church called El Puente. It´s very beautiful here. Yesterday we went down to this neighborhood and took some musical instruments, frisbees, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk. The area is extremely poor and very eye opening. This children are so nice though. We started playing and a couple children showed up then more kept on coming. I was able to speak with the children a little bit in the broken spanish I know so that was pretty sweet. Some girls here taught us some songs and sweet hand shake games. It was fun just being able to share God´s love through playing games with the children. Also they have this program at night called Vida Joven (Young Life) and they had a service at the place we´re staying. It´s mostly for teenagers. Everything is in spanish down here so I can hardly understand what they´re saying. We sang praise songs in spanish. That was fantastic! Then the leader  gave the message and I got the idea that he was asking the kids if they wanted to accept Christ in their heart to come up to the front. There were about 10 who went up. Praise God! It was such an awesome sight. Even though I really didn´t know what they were saying it was beautiful and exciting knowing they wanted to have a relationship with Jesus. I brought my mandolin down and that´s been a hit. Another guy on our team brought his guitar so in a free time we all just sit around and chill and play some musica. Tonight I´m going to this church called luz de mundo (light of the world) I guess it´s kind of a welcome service. At least that´s what I understand from it. But, we´ll see. God has already been teaching me really sweet stuff and confirming a lot of stuff He had already been telling me. Ah, He is so good! Okay so back to our team, God has just been working through us and just being an encouragement to one another. I could keep writing more stuff on here but I actually have to go. Sorry to cut it off so short! Please keep us in your prayers! God´s shown us how He´s already been working down here and it´s awesome but please pray that He would just use us as instruments helping out the ministries that are already going on down here.
