Hey guys, I got into this whole process pretty late in the game, but I have been keeping up with the blogs and am glad to finally be on it as well!

I'm from NC, 21, and just finished up my junior year at UNC-Wilmington. I'm a psychology major with a minor in Spanish. Like most of you, my family and I are pretty tight... having such little contact with them for a month will be very different! You might have to distract me if I start getting homesick. What else. I absolutely love kids!! I've worked at a drop-in daycare here in Wilmington for over a year now and it's got to be one of the best jobs out there. I get paid to play the whole time. I'm a huge kid, it will take you about 2 minutes to discover that when we meet in person.

I love music, but I'm hesitant to tell all of you musicians that I play guitar... technically i know how to, and I played and sang in my youth group's praise band for a couple years in high school... but I'm not good because it was never something I really dedicated to and got into. That being said, I want to play drums more than I want most things in life. And mandolin, kind of. Not as badly.

I really can't express how excited I am to meet all of you. I can't wait to hear your stories and testimonies and what God has been doing in your lives... He's shown me some pretty awesome things throughout college and even in this trip preparation process. Please feel free to find me on Facebook as well...
